Nanded is connected by rail to Amritsar. The train covers big stations like Khandawa, Ujjain, Gwalior, Itarasi, Delhi, Ambala, Ludhiana etc. These two important places of sikhs are connected by rail by means of Sachkhand Express. Government has also announced Nanded- Patna train to run after some gauge conversion work, thus providing connectivity between places of historical importance.
